The taster was engaged and paid by the seller. That does not make the number false and it does make it unverifiable.

The party who benefits is the party asserting.
Altitude, varietal, process, moisture and cupping score are the five things a roaster pays for, and every one of them is currently stated by the exporter.
Origin is a sentence in an email
Which cooperative, which altitude band, which harvest. Written by us, believed or not believed by the buyer.
Moisture is measured and then retyped
Somebody took a reading at packing. What travels is a figure copied into a document by someone else later.
Honest exporters compete on price with the rest
If nothing can be verified, nothing can be charged for, and the premium collapses towards the commercial grade.
